Chesterland Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund

 

The Chesterland Chamber of Commerce is again offering scholarships to benefit qualified students who reside within the West Geauga Local School District (including home-schooled students). 

 

Applicants must meet the following qualifications. 

 

1.   Must be a resident of the West Geauga Local School District. 

2.  Must have applied to an accredited vocational, four-year or two-year, degree-granting institute of post-secondary education.

3.  Must have participated in two (2) extra-curricular or community service activities while enrolled as a student.

4.  Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00. 

5.  Must demonstrate character, leadership, ability and service. 

 

Scholarship applications are available at the Chesterland Chamber of Commerce office and the guidance offices at the following schools:  West Geauga High School, Andrews Osborne Academy, Cornerstone Christian Academy, Gilmour Academy, Hathaway Brown School, Hawken School, Lake Catholic High School, Laurel School, Notre Dame/Cathedral Latin High School and at the Lake/Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation.  They may also be downloaded from the Chamber's website at www.chesterlandchamber.com. 

 

Completed applications must be mailed (postmarked by March 31, 2011) to the Chesterland Chamber of Commerce, 8228 Mayfield Road, Suite 4B, Chesterland, OH  44026-2594.
