About Us

The Chesterland Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1962 as a non-profit organization and is affiliated with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Our membership is comprised of individuals, businesses and organizations that reside or conduct business in Chester Township and the surrounding trade area. This area comprises Chester, Russell, Newbury and Munson Townships as well as the adjacent areas in Geauga, Lake and Cuyahoga counties.

Our Mission is to enhance business opportunities, support and promote the economic well-being of our trade areas and advance the civic and general interests of our communities.

Fifteen Trustees elected by the general membership, each to serve a three-year term, conduct the business of the Chamber. The Board of Trustees, serving on a voluntary basis, annually elects four officers. There are two part-time employees. If you are not already a member, we hope you will consider joining the Chamber. Together, we can make the Chester Township area a better place to do business and live.

TRUSTEE MEETING: The first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Chamber office.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER: The Communicator is mailed to all members and friends each month.

MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS: Breakfast, Luncheon and After-Hours meetings are held regularly. Check for dates, times and places in the Communicator, on our web page (www.chesterlandchamber.com) or call the Chamber office. Enjoy interesting speakers and networking opportunities.
